Just think about all the colors in a sunset (mmm!). Purples, oranges and dusty pinks would be stunning for an evening wedding on the beach!

One of my favorite beach weddings is a hot pink wedding color scheme. Pink pom pom flowers lined the aisle, the bride carried deep pink peonies, and her maids wore hot pink satin gowns .
And let's not forget the fact that not all beaches are created equal. There are certainly some beaches that are really beach'y. Then, there are others that aren't so much. Sure there's a beach - but really, it's all about the extravagent beach house.
In these cases a color scheme based on the beach house surroundings is probably the most logical thing to do. If their table clothes are violet a purple, yellow, or peach themed wedding would be perfectly stunning!
Just remember this when picking your wedding colors...
If you consider the venue and the surroundings deciding on your color scheme will become a lot easier.
If you're going to go with an unexpected color, keep it simple. Stick with ONE color (in addition to white) so that the color can really pop in its natural environment. Otherwise, there's just too much pretty competing for attention.
